Summary: Please read to the end***The cabin overall will be nice and comfortable once it is completed. The problems were. It was not completely renovated when we arrived. The third bedroom, and the rear deck was still under construction. And the oven was very old and not working. Also we did not have a washer and dryer as advertised. Then the plumbing in the bathroom failed. The owner offered to have us use another cabin next door to use the bathroom. Its was a little bit of a hassle but we are used to primitive camping and wasn't a deal breaker. I do want to say the owner was very attentive and was doing all he could to fix the situation with the plumbing. He was getting the runaround from the home repair plumbing guys. We are already talking about coming back next spring. The cabin is in a wonderful location next to a beautiful stream in the back yard. And is a 30 min drive from Estes and Lyons. The cabin was clean and our bed was comfortable. Even with its current short comings this will be a wonderful spot to stay when completed. And the owner also offered a large discount on a future stay to make up for the hassle.
