Couples or Families - Let the Spectacular Mountain Views from the windows and decks of Son Shine Lodge add an extra-special sparkle to your vacation! Large Upper Level private Master Suite and Main Level's 2 bedrooms are perfect for a romantic couples’ getaway or a family retreat. This spacious home radiates the open tranquility of the mountains themselves, and the breathtaking views are sure to make your heart beam!
Main Level
The impressive foyer opens to a large living room complete with comfortable furnishings and large windows for you to enjoy the spectacular mountain views. Step through the door leading to the deck to feel the mountain breeze! Snuggle up in front of the gas log fireplace to watch a movie on the 50” Smart TV or “surf the web” with the free Wi-Fi.
Each of the 2 bedrooms has a Queen bed. The 2.5 Baths have granite countertops with a relaxing jetted tub in the full bath.
Modern eat-in kitchen has granite countertops, a breakfast island, side-by-side refrigerator-freezer and a gas log fireplace next to dining for 4. Elegant formal dining room seats 6 with an enchanting “rustic” chandelier and windows on two sides so everyone can enjoy the scenic views.
Upper Level
The entire Upper Level is dedicated to the Romantic Private Master Suite! Expansive master bedroom area has a romantic King canopy bed and cozy twin daybed under the eaves. Sitting Room has a Smart TV and opens to the large deck. Luxurious Master Bath has a claw-footed tub and large granite shower with multiple showerheads (please conserve water or leave adequate time between showers for the hot water tank to refill).
Top Level
A spiral staircase from the master suite sitting parlor leads to the Top Level Bonus Room with Queen bed. Bring your telescope for gazing across the mountain range from the private balcony!
Outside Decks
You’ll enjoy the mountain views from the large, partially covered decks on the main and upper levels. Meals cooked on the gas grill and eaten at the outdoor dining for 6 taste even better when surrounded by nature’s beauty! For security purposes, the cabin has external cameras monitoring the exterior, public areas of the property. These devices may be operational during your stay.

Summary: The property was dirty both outside and inside. I was told it had been cleaned but the bathrooms had not been cleaned. There were bird droppings on the rails in front and back. The rug on the deck is torn and messy. It is a safety hazzard. The air conditioning on the second floor leaks so I had to turn it off. You should go and check and tell me if you would payed to rent this property. John van horn
