Oceans at Cane Bay is situated on a dramatic bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea with astonishing views from every room. The villa is just a short stroll from the swimming, snorkeling, diving and restaurants at Cane Bay, yet is secluded and private. The finely detailed villa features Spanish terra cotta roof tiles, travertine flooring, numerous antique brick oceanfront patios, an incredible pool, central air conditioning, wonderful furnishings, museum quality artwork and every amenity you could want for the perfect vacation. The main level includes the pool a wonderful covered patio for outdoor dining, a great room with beautiful leather furnishings, an interior dining area and a cooks kitchen with professional stainless appliances. A king ensuite master is also located on the main level with its own private oceanfront patio, a luxurious bath with a spacious stone shower and fine linens. The lower level features the second ensuite master, similarly furnished, also with it's own luxurious bath and private patio.

Summary: I must say that the view is great. I took several photos and videos of the waves crashing the rocks below. The listing pictures do not show the actual size of the living area. The living/dining area is quite small. The furniture is too large for the floor space. The dining table is against the wall with little room to pull it out for better seating. The kitchen island has four unnecessary bar stools because the eating area is about four inches deep. The bedrooms are a good size but with no place to hang your clothes. The master bedroom bed was very low, not easy for seniors to enter the bed. Parking was across the road but because of a large pothole, traffic slowed in front of the house. The four of us enjoyed our week's visit to St. Croix but would not rent this home again. It would be acceptable for a 2 to 3-day stay.
