Blackwater Falls State Park is the perfect destination for swimming, birding, camping, hiking or just plain relaxing and enjoying the unsurpassed natural beauty. Warning the walking trails going to the site can be muddy. Pack accordingly for you will have to carry your belongings to the site, feel free to ask any questions on packing.
Enjoy the cool waters of Pendleton Lake! Take a dip or rent a kayak, canoe, paddleboat or stand up paddle board! There are many great fishing opportunities at Blackwater Falls State Park! you can catch bass, bluegill, catfish and trout at Pendleton Lake. The nearby Blackwater River also is regularly stocked with trout in the spring and summer.
There are over 22 miles of hiking trail and miles of biking trails! Game courts and equipment such as tennis, volleyball and basketball are available during the summer months at Blackwater.
This campsite is equipped with a pre-set sturdy canvas tent on it's own wooden deck platform. The tent is furnished with a queen-size memory foam mattress and side tables. A picnic table, fire pit with a grill, a solar shower, and portable camp loo are also provided, and campers are able to use the park's restroom facilities as well. There is an additional pop up tent provided for extra guests, but you will have to bring your own air mattresses/sleeping pads for this tent.

Guest Access:
Be sure to bring your own food, firewood and bedding. There is no electricity available at your Tentrr site. Anything you pack in, you must pack out. All trash MUST be deposited in a designated receptacle at the end of your stay. If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee. Have a wonderful stay!
Other Things to Note:
- Pack your own food, water, firewood, bedding, bug spray and flashlights
- There is no electricity, AC, or heater at your Tentrr site, pack accordingly
- Anything you pack in, you must pack out. This is "leave no trace" camping and all sites will be inspected for cleanliness and damages before the next camper
- All trash MUST be deposited in the designated trash receptacle that is labeled on the map.Please notes : If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee of at least $50
- Pets are allowed. Please keep all pets on leashes(we recommend 6 ft), and DO NOT let your pets near or swim in any bodies of water.
- Please remember to respect and keep your distance from our wildlife in the park. Feeding any wildlife is prohibited. Be aware and watch all surrounding areas when going off trail.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a Tentrr Camp Guide submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
