Our Anglers' Roost cabin is an authentic, Amish-built log home and perfect for a couple of fishermen looking for nice lodging accommodations while they scout the local fisheries as well as couples & small families looking to explore the New River Valley or just relax together and be one with the mountains. The Anglers' Roost is also a great add-on for larger groups who need a bit more space or where a few guests can seek some peace at the end of a fun day reuniting with friends or family.

The cabin is fully-furnished and has central heat & air. Bed linens & bath towels are provided. The full kitchen includes a full sized range/oven, mid-sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave, dishes/glasses, pots & pans, and utensils. The indoor dining table seats 4. There is outdoor seating on the porch for 2. The living area overlooks the porch/creek and has satellite TV/DVD, loveseat, and leather, Lazy Boy recliner. WiFi access is limited (meaning basic internet browsing & checking emails can usually be expected but live streaming/downloading may not work well due to satellite internet data capabilities & is the WiFi in general can be effected by weather, etc.)
The Anglers' Roost will sleep up to 4 comfortably. Sleeping arrangements include an option of EITHER a king bed OR 2 twin beds in the master bedroom and a double-sized pull out sofa in the living room. There is 1 full bath with a tub/shower combo.
While the inside is rustically fabulous, the outdoor features are what really puts the Anglers' Roost over the top. The porch has a swing overlooking the creek and is perfect for winding down after a great day fishing or hiking. While there are 2 other cabins on the property, each cabin has it's very own charcoal grill and fire ring and with over a half-mile of creek frontage, there is plenty of stream for you to explore.
