There is a garden with table and chairs. You can travel very easily while you are in Ortakoy. You can take ferry , bus and taxi. It is very easy to go everywhere while you are in Ortakoy. There is tons of different cuisine, bars nearby. Markets are very close to house. I am an Istanbulian for 25 years and I know exactly what Istanbul is.
