The Gem is a unique One Bedroom townhouse with beautiful Ocean Views. Located on a very quiet, tranquil development, just a 5 minute stroll to the stunning Bottom Bay Beach.
The villa is fully equipped to make your stay comfortable. Screened doors & windows - allowing outdoor dining and total relaxation without pesky insects. Also the mesmerizing, un-spoilt view of the Atlantic Ocean visible from the lounge area.
Fabulous size lounge and dining area with ceiling fan. A day bed along with a sofa provides comfort (also can accommodate a 3rd person). Lounge area looks out to a covered patio area which has outdoor dining, not to mention the Ocean view!
A compact kitchen with full size washer/dryer, electric stove, fridge freezer, microwave & smaller appliances. Ceiling fan also provided in the Kitchen area.
The bedroom (with AC) has a King size bed (OR two single beds if needed). A desk & chair area is also provided. Full size wardrobes.
Good sized bathroom next door to the bedroom.
A hired vehicle is recommended in this stunning parish of St Philip. Free Private (off road) parking is also available. Private entrance to the Gem Villa.
Saying that - a 5 minute walk out of the development takes you to the amazing Bottom Bay beach. Head down a a flight of rustic steps to the stunning view of the beach and Ocean. This is the Atlantic side of the Ocean, swimming really only for the very strong swimmer. Around this area are also plenty of hiking & walking trails, mostly with stunning views.
The Atlantic Rising development is a mix of retired residents and a handful of holiday makers, a really ' Get away from it All' feel to this area.
Approximately 12 minute drive takes you to Emerald City (well stocked) Supermarket open 7 days a week. Also in this area, Gas station, bank, post office and fast food outlet.
The Crane Beach Resort is also about a 10 minute drive, having 3 on site restaurants. In the same area is Cutters (a casual style eatery), Marco Polos Restaurant is also popular. More recently a new restaurant called Dis Ol House for Lobster and Seafood located by the Sam Lords Castle (just before the Crane Beach resort).
The Owner also provides a welcome document upon arrival detailing Emergency numbers, nearest local Dr Internet access & password etc.
Just a note regarding garbage to ensure garbage is tied up before placing in the garbage can outside. Essential to put out due to the Tropical heat!
Also, please ensure the AC and ceiling fans are switched off when going out (even if you not in the bedroom - please turn off) Unit is serviced and cools room super quick, so no need to leave on.
Please Note : When the Owner is on the Island she resides in the self contained studio located at the Villa. The studio has its own private entrance to the Main Villa.
You will have sole access to the Villa - own kitchen, bathroom, lounge and deck/garden area.
No parties or gatherings/visitors who are not in the initial booking are permitted in the Villa.
