Summary: Everything you'd want from a country pub in the Cotswolds. creaky wooden floors, real beer, glowing fireplace and great pub food (but not pretentious gastro-pub fare). and the room was amazing. We stayed in the Oakley, and it was perfect. super comfortable giant bed, lovely deep bath, and great shower room, with a very convenient motion sensor light that trips on in the night when you need a pee. Lot's of help if needed for local walks etc, and very polite and engaging staff. And Winchcombe is very pretty for a stroll, and very close to Sudeley Castle, and some of the more well known Cotwolds villages. Would very much recommend a stay here!
