3 Bedroom Cottage in Tiny
Welcome to The Nest; a place to retreat, relax, reset, and revive yourself. Located in the beautiful township of Tiny, this 4-season cottage brings to you the tranquility of nature along with the sounds of beautiful sandy beaches on Georgian Bay just a short walk away.
The Area
Located 5-10 minutes from the cottage is an LCBO, grocery stores, variety shops, and food stops. If you go about 15-20 minutes out you will find golf courses, hospitals, major grocery stores and shopping stores, along with many restaurants/bars, from major chains to mom & pop restaurants.
Water & Septic System
The cottage is equipped with a water softener as well as separate filtration for drinking water, so the tap water is potable.
IMPORTANT: The cottage features a septic tank, so no oil, bleach-based or personal care products should be flushed down the toilet or any sinks. This will damage the septic system. Oil can be poured out into bottles and disposed of that way.
BBQ
On the front deck, you will find the BBQ grill. Propane tank is not provided. Please bring your own if you plan to BBQ.
Wi-Fi and TV
Wireless internet is not currently available at the cottage. We are working on this and will have it available soon. There is mobile reception in the area, so you can access the internet that way. There are 2 TVs in the cottage, one on each level and both equipped with an HDMI cable to connect to a laptop or similar device.
Campfire
Next to the driveway is the big firepit area surrounded by wood logs, but these logs are not to be used for the fire as these are simply for aesthetic. Firewood will be provided, with bags located near the firepit area under a tarp. Please cover the wood once you take some. If finished, please buy from one of many local sellers.
Garbage Collection
As we follow County of Simcoe garbage requirements, please use the 3 bins located at the front of the driveway to sort your trash during the stay. If garbage does not all fit in bins, please take extra with you and do not leave out as wildlife will go through it and leave a mess.
Damaged/Broken or Lost Items
We trust that you will be as careful and mindful as possible with our belongings, but we understand that accidents happen, where either an item is broken or lost, so we would appreciate it that either those items are replaced, or you let us know.
