Summary: I will never stay at this property again. The managers use a "bait and switch" to get you to pay for a nice-looking unit on their website and then claim it is no longer available and give you an "upgrade"! We were looking forward to a city view for our romantic getaway and instead looked into another building and could not even go outside because the deck was not shovelled. We would have preferred the balcony that we paid for on the website. The building was under renovation and, therefore, was noisy and dusty, with light bulbs hanging from the ceiling in the hallways and construction noises preventing us from sleeping in and relaxing. The management did send us pictures of the unit but DID NOT mention the construction and the pictures showed a view we did not have. We also couldn't access the advertised spa. We tried to contact the booking agency by text, phone, email and through the Hotels.com website asking for a partial refund as this is not what we paid for. Unfortunately, we heard nothing back. This is an atrocious business practice! The place did provide coffee and shampoo, etc., in the washrooms, but the furniture was broken, and the beds were smaller than what we paid for. Overall, it was a rip-off, and the management did not communicate when we expressed disappointment.
