Ocean Ridge Beach House is a beautiful 3-bedroom 1.5 bath cottage found along a quiet beach front cottage community in Savage Harbour. It’s located on a large lot with ample yard space for all the quiet and privacy you want on your beach vacation. You’ll enjoy full indoor/outdoor living and dining with the new screened-in porch to take in the lovely sunsets, the ocean views and sounds of the crashing waves. Barbecue your meals on the large sunny deck and enjoy the sandy beach that is great for swimming, relaxing or beachcombing, accessed by your own private staircase. Beach towels, toys and fold up beach chairs are provided. There is also a fire pit and an outdoor shower onsite.
As soon as you enter, you will be greeted with a sense of relaxation. Watch a movie or satellite TV, and enjoy the ambiance of the fireplace. Take advantage of the high-speed Fibre Optic WIFI. The sunny kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need, lots of counter space and stainless-steel appliances. You’ll enjoy the water view from the large bay window and almost every room in the house! Eat in or out at dining tables that seat eight. On the main level there’s also a half bathroom and a laundry room. Upstairs, you will find all three bedrooms and a full bathroom. In the large primary bedroom, there is a queen size bed and a patio door to your own deck overlooking the ocean – perfect for viewing our famous north shore sunsets. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and a stunning ocean view. Bedroom number three has a bunk bed, with both double and twin-size beds. (A single futon bed and a pack and play baby bed are available upon request.)
Savage Harbour is 35 minutes from Charlottetown where you will find amazing restaurants, music, shopping, groceries and many other amenities. You are also less than an hour to Cavendish, 25 minutes to PEI National Park along the north shore, 15 minutes to beautiful Blooming Point Beach, and 15 minutes to first class golfing at The Links at Crowbush Cove, and a short drive to dozens of others.

Summary: My mother, sister and three nieces had an amazing visit to PEI the last week of May. Ocean Ridge Beach House was very quaint and warm with beautiful views of the ocean. We were able to see both sunrises and sunsets due to position of the sun that week! Interior furnishings matched the pictures and the place is well kept. The area suffered quite a bit of damage from Hurricane Fiona last year so the yard was in process of being re-graded with dirt, gazebo in the pictures was no longer there and the steps to the beach had been washed away, but replacement was in process. I'm sure by the start of the summer season it will look much better, but pictures may need to be updated if gazebo is not going to be replaced. It was cooler weather and we were touring the island the 3 full days we were there, so didn't spend much time outside anyway. The management office did alert us to these issues prior to our arrival. The cottage is approximately 1.5 miles off the main road on a dirt road like many of the lighthouses and other sites on the island. The road was a bit rough driving because it rained while we were there. Beware that Google Maps directions were not accurate. You MUST make a left at stop sign at French Village Road and Point Deroche Rd then first right onto Doyles Beach Road. Google Maps had us stay straight onto French Village Rd for approximately 1 mile which dead-ends into the ocean and you have to drive back to main road to get to Doyles Beach Rd.
