- The dining area has a great table for 8 for those wonderful sit-down meal moments. Plus there is a huge long breakfast bar with 7 stools at the kitchen counter.
- An outstanding kitchen, fully equipped with high-end appliances and even a wine fridge! It’s a chef’s dream! You can easily prepare healthy home-cooked meals here any day or night!
- Downstairs you’ll find another outdoor pool and lounging area! A smaller splash pool, but gorgeous nonetheless. There’s also a beautiful in-home billiards and sink-in sofa TV lounge room with another wall-mounted Smart TV, lots of natural light through the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, and a little work desk if needed. Open up all the way and have a breezy pool tournament!

The villa is inside a safe, guard-gated residential neighborhood called Playacar (Fase 1). You won’t need a car to get around, but if you have one, you’ll have your free parking on the premises. You can walk to Paseo del Carmen outdoor mall, where the start of 5th Avenue is. It's about a 10-min walk and there are plenty of shops and restaurants there. Essentially everything you need is just a short walk or drive to get to. Even the world-class Hard Rock Golf Course is inside Playacar and just across the road from the home. There’s also a Walmart nearby for grocery shopping needs for home-cooked meals.
Plus there are also so many different things to see and do around Playa del Carmen -- everything from downtown shopping, beach/beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba, paddle boarding, and boating, eco-parks with underground rivers and cave systems, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes special to this area!), private boat/yacht and fishing tours, golfing, day trips to Cancun or Tulum and so much more!
Guest Access:
Someone tries to be there to meet you at check-in, as long as it’s not too late. In that event, a self-check-in is available using a code at the digital entry keypad at the front door. We will provide that code to you at least 24 hours before arrival.
You’ll have exclusive access to the villa and of course access to the private pool and lounge area.
The Neighborhood:
The villa “Buena Suerte” is located inside Playacar Phase 1, a family-friendly residential area in the heart of Playa del Carmen. You’ll have:
- An incredible private rooftop pool & lounge at the home but easy access to the beach, a minute walk
- An 8-10-min walk 5th Avenue where you’ll find fantastic shops, restaurants, cafes, and nightlife
- Vibrant shopping malls nearby like Paseo del Carmen, Quinta Alégria, and the shops at Calle Corazón with loads of designer and chain stores, boutiques, and restaurants.
- Walmart and Mega grocery stores are only a few blocks away
- Hard Rock Riviera Maya Golf Club is practically in your backyard, inside Playacar!
- You’re near beaches and beach clubs, especially Playacar Beach.
- Inside a secure guard-gated residential community - where visitors need to present ID

Getting Around:
The villa is a 50-55-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport (CUN), 58 km/36 miles away. If arriving by car, you can park on the street in downtown Playa, but be aware of the paid parking meters that are in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm. You’ll have to look for the parking post to pay the meter and display your receipt on your car’s dashboard.
For any sightseeing or activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go.

Other Things to Note:
Wi-Fi, Smart TV, bed linens, beach, and bath towels are provided free during your stay.
We provide a few basic essentials as well, to make you feel more at home when you arrive like some bottled drinking water, soap, and toilet paper. But please note, that these are not replenished during your stay. If you need more, you’ll need to purchase more.
For short-term stays, electricity is included. However, for stays of 28 days or more, guests will be required to pay an electricity fee of $167 USD per month.
For stays of 28 nights or more the guest must pay 2 cleaning services per month at a cost of $40 USD per cleaning.
There are surveillance cameras on the property for security reasons only. All cameras face outdoor areas like the entrance and outdoor to the pool area.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Lastly, long-term stays are available. There are laptop-friendly workspaces and WiFi so it’s ideal for the remote worker.
Please note that the property will not be ready any earlier than 3pm under any circumstances and that the check in is in person.
The local team works from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and on Sunday only in case of emergency.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise will not be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters will be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed unless there is prior authorization and an extra fee may apply if such is given.
- It is requested to use the safe box for all your valuables. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft.
