A great home (or home office) away from home. Quiet & private, yet only minutes from downtown with views of the Sound and the Cascades. Telecommute from the separate work area with large desk and high-speed (250 Mbs) WIFI makes it a great home (office) away from home. Enjoy the eat-in kitchen, heated-floor bath & a cozy living area with HDTV, games, books and piano. A nice base for hiking, biking & exploring Whidbey. There's even a tennis court! Hosts live on property (separate house) and are readily available.
The space
Nestled beside woods of fir and madrone trees, across from some neighboring cows, with sweeping Cascades views from the kitchen and patio, this is a sweet spot for a guest suite.
Inside is a spacious living area with high-definition cable and subscription TV, there are also books, games, puzzles and a piano. There's a separate writing/working area with a large desk and high-speed WIFI that can support remote work as well as gaming.
There's also ample seating at the farmers-style table in the kitchen, which makes for a nice, separate work space from the sleeping area as there is a door between the two rooms.
The kitchen is stocked with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, double-burner induction cook top, refrigerator, cookware and dinnerware. It's well-suited for cooking in as well as bringing back take-out.
Outdoors, there are numerous bicycling routes and walking paths nearby. Or, bring your racquets or paddles and play tennis or pickle ball on the tennis court on the property.
