Positive: There was nothing not to like. From the start communication with Sadie was easy and a collection from the airport was arranged. Upon arrival we were met by Joachim who took us to the property. From the start everything was easy, very well run and overall a pleasure. As we were at the apartment, we had the choice if we wanted breakfast as you have all the ability to prepare food yourself. 2 out of 3 days we had the 45BB breakfast, prepared by Joachim, which was very good value for money and excellent quality. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and the location of 45BB for Carcassonne is perfect. A walk across the road and your are in the newer town with plenty of food and drink choices. A walk across the bridge and you are in the old town with even more choice for food. Just a small walk from here and you have the entrance to the City. We spent two days by the pool at 45BB and it felt like you had the whole place to yourself. It's extremely quiet and relaxing, as are the surroundings. This is my first time to Carcassonne and 45BB but it won't be the last. I couldn't recommend both enough. The two together, location and accommodation, made for a wonderful break. Thanks very much to Sadie and Joachim for opening their beautiful property to others to enjoy and for being excellent hosts.
