The property and its surrounding area is steeped in history, beautiful countryside with the Jurassic Coastline just down the road. Godwin's has all the essentials to make your stay wonderful and a few added luxuries that make it that little bit extra special, including your own private roof terrace where you can enjoy a restful breakfast with the morning sun, or a glass of wine and dinner alfresco overlooking the stunning scenery and it is a great space for star gazing. Set within 2 acres of grounds, there is a private lawned area for you to use, ideal for a game of croquet or boule, or a place to unwind with a good book.. Summary: We loved our stay here; Ruth was very friendly and welcoming and had left a box of welcome gifts, including treats for our dog, which were all very much appreciated. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and well equipped, and close to many beautiful areas to explore. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch to ensure we went home feeling very relaxed. We will definitely be back! Thank you
