Fezzano is a beautiful coastal village in the Gulf of Poets, just a few kilometers from Portovenere, Le Grazie and the island of Palmaria.
Ideal to spend your vacation in relaxation and tranquility, just a few steps from the wonders of the coast and only 300 meters from the small pebble beach of Fezzano.
A few meters from the house is the public bus to Portovenere.
The picturesque coastal town is located on a rocky headland on the Gulf of La Spezia and welcomes you with a picture-book setting. The multi-story houses with their pastel-colored facades are packed together along the waterfront promenade. White yachts rock on the water next to blue, yellow and green fishing boats.
The mountains behind the houses rise steeply and the Doria Castle towers high above the scenery on a rocky plateau. At first glance, hardly recognizable is the peculiarity of the house front that the majority of the buildings were built directly on the rocks.
The main street runs behind it parallel to the coast and can be reached from the harbor quay via several stair tunnels.

Summary: while the owners were both very pleasant, they refused to address the services that was on the listing. Instead they were pressing for the cash balance for the electricity/cleaning fees, which, as per below, were outrageously high. The listing was offering not existing amenities: no parking / no internet / no closeness to the beach. Parking was 3/4 miles away and at $2.5 per hour if/when available. So, basically, no parking. With a child and many luggages it was a nightmare since road is very narrow and dangerous to walk (no sidewalk) with cars speeding like crazy. Internet: there is a wireless box but no connection. Mattresses very uncomfortable Linens very old and used and not even enough for two people, rest alone for 5. Umid environment with many mosquitoes. I contacted VRBO and the Italian agency as well and they both refused to take responsibilities for the misrepresentation of the listing, which was awful considering the amount of money I paid. $90 for cleaning fees seems to be excessive for two days stay, especially since all (yes all) the plates inside the house were dirties in the beginning with. It didnt matter complaining to the agency. They promised a discount but it never happened. Location is 10 minutes drive to cinqueterre place so, if you are ok with the above (but you shoudn't) go for it. Otherwise way better options closer to cinqueterre and with better service. This is my first time using vrbo and I am very disappointed by all.
