Or come escape the winter chill fireside and visit nearby Cannonsburg Ski area.
Convenient location 15 miles from Downtown Grand Rapids and 5 miles from Downtown Rockford. Many good restaurants within a short drive, party store and ice cream shop 5-minute walk and great grocery store less than 5 minutes away. There are numerous recreational activities in the area as well with many parks, bike and hiking trails and golfing close by. A variety of wonderful shops and restaurants are located within 5 miles and in the winter Cannonsburg Ski Area is a 5- minute drive away.
Home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. The beautiful lake views begin the moment you walk through the front door and continue on the 32x16 cedar deck with gas grill and portable bar for relaxing or outdoor eating. The backyard consists of a 200x100 open grass area leading to the beach, giving you plenty of space for playing catch, football, volleyball or any of your favorite yard games. The lake front has a beach-sand area for that Lake Michigan feel with a large shallow area into the lake. Outdoor kitchen/bar with gas grill perfect for simple lunches, family gatherings or romantic evening dinners, all under the shade of our giant willow tree!!
Private main level suite features a large bedroom with beautiful birch hardwood flooring, beautiful built in dresser and end tables with custom counter tops, ceiling fan, large picture windows overlooking the lake and walk in closet. Unbelievable master bath with air tub which fills from the ceiling, an oversized walk in shower with slate and glass tiles all with heated concrete flooring.
Two lower level bedrooms both with significant views of the lake. One has tile flooring and one has superb cork flooring. Both have walk in closets and are located near the full bath.
Kitchen and dining area include huge picture window providing stunning views of the lake setting. Plenty of counter prep space and fully equipped for all your cooking needs. All stainless appliances including dishwasher, microwave, chef style gas stove and oven, French door fridge with ice maker. Adjoining dining area features a built-in dining table and entertaining snack bar with picturesque views overlooking the lake. French glass door leads to the deck.
Spacious living room boasts a cathedral ceiling with a massive picture window flooding the room with natural lighting and great view of the lake. 75" Smart TV with DirecTV, Netflix and Sonos system. Large couch for relaxing, watching movies or reading.
Main Floor Laundry with washer, dryer, utility sink with plenty of counter space for storing extra snacks, bags, etc.
Walkout Level Family Room perfect for relaxing. It features a gas fireplace with decorative concrete façade and full custom hearth bench. Wall of picture windows gives a panoramic view of the lake and allows natural light into the room. It has a refreshment center with wet bar, snack bar and refrigerator for cold beverages. Beautiful tile flooring plus French door to the patio and beach.
Walkout Lower Level bathrooms include full bath near both bedrooms. Custom built counters and cabinets with sitting bench, oversized slate tile shower and slate flooring. Half bath near the French door to the patio is perfect for those running in from the lake or those lounging in the lower level family room.
