2 Bedroom Cottage in Filey

Blue Anchor Retreat Beach House is situated on Blue Anchor Road, close to the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre. Perfect for a quiet break away from it all, with a deck and boules court to the front and parking bay for 2 cars at the rear.
Enter through the side door into the hallway with coat storage. To your left are the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, and the second bedroom with twin 2ft6 singles which can be joined to make a king if requested. There is also another shower room with jack-and-jill doors.
To the right is the open-plan kitchen / dining / lounge space with large corner leather sofa, with bifold doors to the deck with rattan round table and seating for 4, ideal for alfresco dining or sitting out whilst the children play outside on the boules court.
We leave a few games for our guests to use.
There is a smart TV in the living room and further TVs in both bedrooms.
The log burner makes this beach house warm and cosy for breaks all year round.
Parking for 2 cars side by side behind the house too.
Please note the driveway/path sleepers can be uneven and slippery when wet and therefore this property may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Summary: In our opinion, having stayed at Filey Bay in the past; Blue Anchor Road is ideally positioned on the site. A lovely quiet area and the Beach Houses are amazingly warm and comfortable. All facilities are near at hand including tennis, archery and a large size indoor pool which is a real attraction for those who fancy a swim numerous times a day. All areas are kept spotlessly clean. A pass is provided by the owners of the property to allow free use of the pool and spa. The private path to the local sandy beach is a real plus and ideal for dog owners. Perfect holiday retreat. We look forward to our next visit. (Please make sure the bollard lights are on at the bottom of Blue Anchor Road as it is very dark at night for the properties around the bottom corner if they are switched off.)
