Positive: This time, I stayed in Shivapuri, Kathmandu, for the first time. I chose this homestay, and I truly experienced hospitality that felt just like being part of a family. As a Japanese guest, I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities—it left a lasting impression. Even if there is something missing in the room, you can simply ask the owner, and they will replenish or take care of it right away, which gives great peace of mind. Every morning, I went for a walk with Sanam, the owner’s son, who showed me beautiful spots in nature with breathtaking views. We also shared breakfast together, which made the experience even more special. While the space provided a wonderful sense of privacy, it also had the warmth of being with family, creating the perfect balance. When it comes to transportation—whether arranging a taxi to the airport or when public transport is unavailable—you can rely on the owner for flexible support.
