A short drive takes you into one of America's Coolest Small Towns, Fayetteville with awesome restaurants that feature locally grown food and live music. Continue your evening at Starlite Drive-In Movies or just relax at the house on one of the two large porches viewing some of the most beautiful sunsets the area has to offer. Enjoy relaxing in the four-person hot tub. Play a game of cornhole and make s'mores at the spacious private back yard new fire pit area (with complimentary firewood) while stargazing the night sky. Autumn welcomes Gauley Season when thousands enjoy West Virginia’s largest single-day festival (Bridge Day), hiking trails to explore while taking in the crisp air and brilliant warm hues of the mountains. During the winter months visitors can check out skiing, snowboarding and the state’s largest snow-tubing park at Winterplace Resort.
This clean, comfortable home sits on 42 quiet wooded acres with grassy fields that serve as the perfect base camp for lazy lake days or touring the park. Room for six people means the whole family can enjoy a fun getaway together. Master Bedroom and Guest Bedroom each have a queen bed, while the Kid’s Bedroom has two comfy twins (all linens included). Two full bathrooms with tub/shower. House is cooled with two large portable air conditioning units as well as ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. Central heat keeps the home warm thru the winter. Kitchen is fully equipped with a new range and everything you’ll need. New washer and dryer conveniently available in the home. Smart TV, DVD player, large selection of movies, board games and books – something for everyone in the family.
The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, but we are in the mountains of West Virginia and service may be "spotty" at times. We are not responsible and no booking refund for any internet or power outages due to weather and other conditions beyond our control.
Please do not leave food or trash outside or attempt to feed the local wildlife. Deer, raccoons opossums and occasional bears frequent the area. As the property is in the country bordering woods there is always a possibility of some unwanted visitors ie mice that will venture inside.
Plenty of private parking available. Large garage space allows for secure parking of cars, boats, campers, ATV’s and/or trailers. Convenient outside water pump/spigot and hose.
We welcome a well-behaved housebroken dog (non-aggressive breed). We must be notified and approve the dog when you book your stay. We ask that the dog stay off beds and furniture (we provide a doggy-bed) and that guests properly dispose of pet waste (waste bags are provided). The dog must be under the supervision of owners and not left alone at the house uncrated. We are not able to accommodate cats.
Ring Cam System monitors two entrances for safety and security.
Request for early check in/late check out may be considered if available. $25 per additional hour charged up to two hours maximum.
