Our holiday flat in Hauptmannsgrün is surrounded by forests, pastures and fields. It gives holidaymakers a sense that they can still experience pure nature here.
The attraction of the village is a locomotive shed, in which a lovingly rebuilt rolling stock (narrow-gauge locomotive 1000mm) is on display. In summer, everyone, young and old, can relax at our mill pond. The newly built cycle and hiking trail connects Hauptmannsgrün with the large district town of Reichenbach/Mylau and Netzschkau (15 km). Reichenbach greets its guests with the theatre reformer Friederike Caroline Neuber. The theatre of the same name is known far beyond the borders with its events and its philharmonic orchestra. Museums, a wide range of restaurants, two churches with famous organs and newly created playgrounds in the Park of Generations offer plenty of entertainment in the town. The people of Mylau are particularly proud of their castle, which stands high above the houses, and their church with a Silbermann organ. The largest brick bridge in the world, our Göltzschtal Bridge, naturally attracts the most visitors. Just 11 kilometres from us is the biggest attraction in the immediate vicinity, the PLON LEISURE PARK. With many new attractions every year, it delights thousands every year.
Our holiday flat on the 1st floor, accessible via an open wooden staircase, has a size of approx. 60 square metres. From the spacious, west-facing balcony you can watch the horses of the Wagner thoroughbred Arabian stud in their paddock and experience beautiful sunsets. We look forward to welcoming you!
