Summary: We have just returned from a fantastic two week break at the gite at La Moyendrie, near Blois. We only have positive things to say about our stay. The gite itself was perfect for our family of 4 (plus a pet dog) and the setting has the added benefit of extensive grounds to explore. The owners / hosts are fantastic and very friendly. They gave us the warmest of welcomes on arrival and throughout our stay were very helpful in suggesting places to visit etc. The swimming pool is fantastic and our children could not keep out of it. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to base ourselves to enjoy the Loire region.
