Positive: The apartment is very pleasant, spacious, and clean. The kitchen is relatively well equipped,
Negative: We were missing some basic utensils upon arrival – for example, a cutting knife, which we had to purchase ourselves. Considering that the apartment is intended for four people, we would also expect a bit more cookware. There were only two smaller pots available (750 ml and 2 l) and a pan on which it is difficult to prepare a meal for four. We had the most difficulties with the water. Despite the instructions regarding the optimal hours of use and pressure levels, the flow was often unstable – several times we were left without water, or it only came out as a thin stream. In addition, the temperature was very unpredictable; at times extremely hot water would suddenly come out, which required extra caution. Towards the end of our stay, we experienced similar issues with the air conditioning. It started turning off every 20–30 minutes, and then it took up to an hour to turn back on, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The terrace, which is supposed to belong to the apartment, was unfortunately not always private. The owner came onto the terrace several times, and they also brought their visitors there – even while we were using it – which took away our sense of privacy. The most unpleasant part, however, was when the owners unjustly accused us of touching the modem and causing the WiFi to stop working. Why we should do this if WiFi was working??? After it was restored three days later, the owner came again because she did not have signal herself. Since the internet worked perfectly fine for us, such accusations were quite uncomfortable. The surroundings are lively and noisy, mostly because of the animals and local activity, but we accepted this as part of the authentic environment. Unfortunately, the attitude of the owners left us with mixed feelings and somewhat overshadowed an otherwise nice holiday. When we checked we did not receive even a simple “thank you” or “safe travels.”
