Positive: The surrounding areas were fantasticly quiet, it was so easy to just relax and do nothing. On the other hand you could go for strolls, there was a small lake nearby to have a swim in it. The landlords (Alex and Kathi) were super friendly and helpful. We were treated with garden grown vegetables and fruit and our welcome present included self made jam. The apartment was very nice as well. The bedroom was very comfortable, the bathroom big and had a bath in it as well. The kitchen was superb, very sharp cutting knives which made cooking a joy. There was a huge garden, you could sit outside and have brekkie, lunch and dinner. And spent the day laying on a deckchair and relax. A couple of minutes walk was a small supermarkt, GDR style but with all the necessary things, including vegan milk, fresh tasty bread rolls and other things. There were also a lot of small tables outside most of the houses where you could get fresh garden grown vegetables or fruit for a small price.
