"Blue Gate" as it is known is a lodge style house surrounded by hundreds of acres of land offering the ultimate in privacy. Wake up with your morning cup of coffee while gazing out over your own private pond and watch the abundance of wildlife start their day. Grab your canoe or kayak and go for a paddle. If you have a motorboat, take a short drive to your own private dock slip on Big Squam and spend the day out on the lake. Top off the day with a barbecue on the large wraparound deck and then spend the evening sitting back and enjoying a star filled night while listening to the call of the loons. Summary: all the reviews that I had read nobody spoke too much about the house focused on the property outside the pond, walking trails things like that the first thing that was frustrating was that there were no instructions whatsoever on how anything worked in the house or trails Wifi nothing in writing explaining what’s going on cleanliness in the bureau main bedroom. The bottom two drawers were filled with mouse droppings. The sink in the master bedroom was completely clogged I will say that was addressed very quickly but still…the washing machine when was completely filled with old soggy, smelly towels that I had to take out and put on the side pretty gross. How are they not seein In the bathroom we had to go and take a quarter of a roll that was left in the other bathroom and put in the main bathroom go back out to the store to get toilet paper. We had already shopped to get supplies left two tiny fans for the house and it was unfortunately extremely hot absolutely, no Internet access after signing into the Wi-Fi both on our iPhones, which are up-to-date and a two-year-old laptop that I’ve never had any problems with access in the Internet on all three devices so literally had no access to the Internet, which really messed us up because my wife’s position did she have to check in even on vacation and we had to drive to a place to get Wi-Fi to do that every single day just not a good experience Explanation for Internet access was well it can be funky at times really😦
