The thriving village of Tackley lies in the Cherwell Valley and is the perfect base for a countryside escape. Timber Lodge is one of two lovely properties set in a peaceful courtyard in the heart of the village. The bus stop to Oxford is just outside and there's a railway line to Oxford and Bicester Village within walking distance.
Designed to make the most of the space available, Timber Lodge has a spacious open-plan living ground floor with a retro feel. A large sofa ensures plenty of comfy seating, there's a contemporary marble dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a self-catering stay. There's also a ground-floor cloakroom. Beyond two sets of double doors is a private terrace where you can enjoy alfresco meals or drinks in the sunshine.
