Summary: We enjoyed our stay but there were some frustrating issues. Britta, the agent, was always very helpful and worked hard to put things right. We visited for the month of February, this villa is not a winter house, we had plumbing, heating and gas cylinder problems. There are no comforts, everything is very basic and past it’s best, the whole villa needs renovation, furniture needs replacing/updating, arms of chairs both inside, and in the garden, were broken, shower screen in the en-suite was very difficult to open/close, only one person could shower at a time otherwise the hot water was drawn away resulting in icy cold showers, the drains in the bathrooms emitted a nasty smell, beds uncomfortable, had to buy pillows and cases as not enough supplied, linen old and thin. However, the garden with its fruit trees and vegetables is a delight, nice pool although too cold to swim in. Would not return to this villa.
