Positive: Overall the accommodation was very clean, comfortable and situated in a lovely location.The Hosts had provided complimentary milk,apple juice and biscuits which was a thoughtful touch.
Negative: However we were disappointed that the property was advertised as having a Fully Equipped Kitchen.In reality,it only included a combination microwave/oven/grill, a fridge, toaster,kettle and crockery and cutlery. There was NO Kitchen sink with running water or Hob which we would expect in a Fully equipped Kitchen as stated. Instead washing up had to be done in a bowl provided using water carried from the en-suite basin, which made it feel more like camping than self catering accommodation. We would recommend that the listing is updated to describe the the kitchen facilities more accurately so future guests know what to expect. We think it would be more practical to provide bottled drinking water rather than milk and apple juice, as filling the kettle from the en-suite wasn’t an ideal experience. Finally the front entrance steps require handrails fitting as they are quite steep Had to relearn the tv channels on arrival as it was blank.
Summary: Good accommodation .Shame about the Fully equipped kitchen
